Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs all use of the BasePro platform. It applies to every user, operator, and organisation that accesses BasePro under any subscription tier. By using the platform, you agree to comply with this policy. BasePro reserves the right to update this policy and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
2. Authorised Use
BasePro is designed for legitimate real estate operations management. Authorised use includes managing property data, tenant and owner records, financial transactions, compliance workflows, and operational reporting — in accordance with your organisation's subscription scope and applicable law. Users must access only the data and functions their role permissions allow.
3. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are prohibited: using the platform for any unlawful purpose; misrepresenting your identity or organisation; reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the platform's source code; bypassing or circumventing security controls, authentication mechanisms, or access restrictions; sending unsolicited communications through the platform; attempting to access another organisation's data; sharing your credentials with unauthorised users; and using automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data at scale without written consent.
4. Data & Content Standards
You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into BasePro. You must not upload or transmit content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, contains malware or malicious code, or violates applicable privacy or data protection law. BasePro does not verify the accuracy of user-entered data; the controller is responsible for its lawfulness and accuracy.
5. Security & System Integrity
You must not conduct or facilitate distributed denial-of-service attacks, port scanning, or vulnerability probing against BasePro infrastructure. Do not attempt to access systems or data beyond your authorised scope. If you discover a potential security vulnerability, report it responsibly to security@basepro.io. BasePro operates a responsible disclosure programme and will acknowledge qualifying reports within 5 business days.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in suspension or permanent termination of access, without prior notice in cases of severe or ongoing breach. BasePro reserves the right to remove content or data that violates this policy. For questions about permitted use or to report a violation, contact support@basepro.io.
