Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our Commitment
BasePro aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We believe digital services should work for everyone, including users of assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice control. Accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time audit — we track and improve our conformance posture with each release.
2. Conformance Status
We have taken the following steps toward WCAG 2.1 AA alignment: full keyboard navigation throughout all platform pages; colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI elements); respect for the prefers-reduced-motion media query across all animated components; semantic HTML landmark regions and ARIA roles; screen-reader-compatible alt text on all informational images; and focus indicators visible on all interactive elements.
3. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following gaps in our current conformance: complex data tables on the /pricing page may not be fully optimised for all screen readers; some interactive mockup animations use ARIA-hidden appropriately but may behave inconsistently across assistive technology implementations; and certain rich text areas rely on browser default behaviour for assistive technology support. We are actively working to address these limitations.
4. Testing Approach
Our testing approach includes: automated accessibility scans using browser extensions (axe, Lighthouse); manual keyboard-only navigation testing of all primary user flows; reduced-motion testing to verify no animations activate when the system preference is set; and screen reader spot-checks using NVDA and macOS VoiceOver on primary page types. We test against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
