How to Generate an Owner Report

An owner asks for their monthly statement. You need the numbers to be right, the format to be clean, and the PDF ready to send — without rebuilding it from a spreadsheet.

Here is how to generate it.

What you need

  • A portfolio in your account (PORTFOLIO_A in this example)
  • The reporting period you want to cover

Steps

1. Navigate to the reporting section.

From your financial dashboard, open the reporting area. You will see the portfolios available for reporting.

2. Select PORTFOLIO_A.

Choose the portfolio you want to generate the report for. If you manage multiple portfolios, selecting the right one first keeps the numbers clean.

3. Choose the reporting period.

Select the period you want to cover — for example, the previous month. BasePro composes the report from the transactions recorded in that period.

4. Review the summary.

Before generating the final document, you will see a breakdown of the period's activity: income, expenses, and net position for PORTFOLIO_A. Confirm the numbers look correct.

5. Generate and download the PDF.

Confirm the report. BasePro produces a formatted PDF document. Download it to your device.

What you have when it is done

A clean PDF owner report — the financial summary for PORTFOLIO_A covering the period you selected. You decide when and how to share it with your owner. BasePro does not send it to them automatically; that is your call, on your timeline, through your preferred channel.
