SIX CATEGORIES · TWELVE MODULES

The six things you do every day. The twelve modules that teach them.

Six-week cohort. Twelve daily practices, each taught on the BasePro screen where it lives: admin, maintenance, vendors, finances, reports, customization.

Admin

01

Property profiles and floorplans

Set each property up once with photos, units, and a 2D floorplan. Every inspection, work order, and report knows where it belongs.

02

Unified calendar and cross-module tasks

Bookings, maintenance windows, inspections, and compliance dates land in one calendar. Every task traces back to whatever booking or order created it.

Maintenance

03

Mobile inspections from the field

Walk the building with your phone. Tap the room, photo the issue, and the work order writes itself with vendor and location already attached.

04

Work orders and operational cascades

Flag a problem in the field. The work order routes to the right vendor, the books update, and the next handoff queues up. One event, every right action.

Vendors

05

Vendor network and dispatch

Add each vendor once with their specialty, rates, and coverage. Dispatch arrives with photos, location, and scope already attached — no WhatsApp threads to chase.

06

Approvals, scopes, and the payment trail

Quote, scope, work done, invoice paid: the four steps live on one trail. Nobody renegotiates after the fact, and every invoice ties back to the order that triggered it.

Finances

07

Receivables and payables by property

See who owes you and who you owe, by property and by month. Every booking and every work order is mapped to the right line, so the side spreadsheets disappear.

08

Multi-currency banking and reconciliation

Match each bank movement to the books across MXN, USD, and investor-specific accounts. Weekly reconciliation finishes in minutes, not weekends.

Reports

09

One-click owner and investor reports

Branded P&L, occupancy, and owner statements run from live data. The monthly pack sends itself, year-end reports take five seconds, and every number is one click from its source.

10

Compliance dates and year-end packs

Set tax rules and renewal dates once. The system reminds you at 30, 14, and 7 days out, and the year-end pack assembles the week your accountant asks for it.

Customization

11

Roles, permissions, and team access

Four roles, thirteen controls. Set who sees what, who can edit, and who gets the alerts. The building stops depending on one person knowing everything.

12

Property hierarchies and integrations

Override organisation-level defaults at the property or booking-source level, and connect the accounting tools you already use. BasePro conforms to how you actually run things.

ACADEMY · FAQ

Practical questions about the cohort.

Programme logistics — time, prerequisites, missed sessions, certification, cost. If your question isn't here, the working session covers it.

  • How much time per week?

Plan on three to four hours: one live working session of ninety minutes, plus async work running the same module on your portfolio. Office hours every Friday for operators who want a live review.

  • What if I miss a session?

Every working session is recorded and indexed by module. You catch the replay before the next live session, and bring questions to office hours. Cohort progression doesn't gate on attendance — it gates on the deliverable you ship at the end of each module.

  • Do I need prior BasePro experience?

No. The curriculum is sequenced for operators who have never touched BasePro. A working BasePro instance is the deliverable, not the prerequisite. Cohort 1 founding operators receive a free Pro licence for the duration of the programme.

  • Can I bring my team?

Yes. Each founding seat covers one operator plus up to two teammates from the same portfolio. They join the live working sessions, get the recordings, and ship the deliverables alongside you. Larger teams move to the Portfolio licence — talk to the instructor.

  • When does Cohort 1 start?

June 3, 2026. Twelve weeks of working sessions through September 12, 2026. Office hours continue through year-end for graduates. Cohort 2 opens at completion (Q4 2026); Cohort 3 in Q1 2027.

  • What does the syllabus cover?

Twelve modules in four blocks: operations (rent roll, occupancy, maintenance), finance (close, distributions, audit), governance (controls, compliance, reporting), and intelligence (variance attribution, forward-look).

  • Is there a certificate?

Graduates of Cohort 1 receive the BasePro Operator credential, verifiable at the public verification page. The credential is the deliverable: a working BasePro instance, six attested deliverables, and a public verification record signed by the cohort instructor.

  • How much does it cost?

Cohort 1 is free for founding operators — twelve seats, shaped by the operators who run it. From Cohort 2 onward, the programme runs on the Professional yearly licence (USD $290/mo billed yearly) or the Portfolio licence for teams beyond a single desk.

  • What if my portfolio is too small — or too large?

Five properties or four hundred — the operating system is the same. The curriculum sequences identically; the modules adjust where institutional governance is additive (capital calls, distribution waterfalls). Talk to the instructor if you operate above one thousand doors.

  • How is this different from Yardi or AppFolio training?

Vendor training teaches their software. The Academy teaches the operating playbook — how a portfolio runs to a standard a serious operator can ship — and uses BasePro as the substrate that automates the mechanics. The credential names the operating practice, not the tool.
