What Does Each Tier Include?

2026-06-05 · 3 min read · BasePro

Before you talk to sales, you want to know what you are actually choosing. Not a checklist with fifty rows of checkmarks — a plain answer to one question: what changes between Starter, Professional, and Enterprise?

Here is that answer.

What Every Account Starts With

Every BasePro account — at every tier — runs on the same core. There is no stripped-down version that asks you to upgrade before you can run your operation.

The baseline covers:

  • Maintenance order management — log issues, assign vendors, track status from open to close.
  • Vendor assignment — assign vendors to work orders and send them a notification on their preferred channel (email).
  • Owner statements — generate and review owner reports from live ledger data.
  • Financial ledger — record transactions, reconcile against your bank, track income and expenses by property.
  • Role-based access — add team members with view or management access, scoped to the portfolios they should see.

This covers the full operations cycle: a work order opens, a vendor is assigned, the cost lands in the ledger, and the owner statement reflects it. That cycle works the same for five properties or two hundred.

When You Want More: Professional

Professional is for operations where vendor quoting has become a source of friction — where you are coordinating quotes manually, comparing PDFs by hand, or making vendor decisions without a documented record.

What Professional adds:

  • Multi-vendor quoting — send a maintenance request to more than one vendor at the same time and receive structured quotes back.
  • Quote comparison — see all quotes for a given work order side by side, with vendor history visible. You choose; the record stays.

If one trusted vendor handles every trade in your portfolio, the Starter baseline may be all you need. If vendor selection is a real operational decision — and one worth documenting — Professional is the right fit.

When You Want the Full Stack: Enterprise

Enterprise is for operations running at higher volume or complexity — where PDF quote processing is a daily task and where vendor communications need to reach people on WhatsApp, not just email.

What Enterprise adds:

  • WhatsApp dispatch — vendor notifications go out through WhatsApp Business alongside email. Same structured message; vendor receives it on their preferred channel.
  • PDF Quote Intelligence — upload a vendor's quote PDF. The platform extracts the line items, totals, and tax breakdowns. You review the extracted data and confirm before anything posts. It extracts; you confirm.

PDF Quote Intelligence is available now at the Enterprise tier. The broader vendor desk automation layer is on the roadmap (In design) — when it ships, it will follow the same principle: proposals you review before any action is taken.

A Note on Portfolio

The Portfolio tier is how some organisations manage multi-entity structures — separate LLCs or holding companies each needing their own financial isolation. In terms of what the platform can do, Portfolio is Professional. The distinction is the multi-LLC operating structure, not a separate feature set.

If your setup involves multiple entities, that conversation belongs with the sales team — they can map your structure to the right configuration.
